ClearMedia BizzCloud Upgrade

During this week we will be upgrading the ClearMedia BizzCloud  vCenter . This will cause the BizzCloud management interface (https://my.bizzcloud.be) to be unavailable during the following hours:

 

Monday  11/02/2019 22:00 – 00:00

Tuesday 12/02/2019 22:00 – 00:00

 

The environment itself will remain available during the upgrade, the hosted virtual machines will remain unaffected throughout the maintenance period.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

During the week we will be upgrading the ClearMedia BizzCloud management panel to vCloud director version 8.2 . This will cause the BizzCloud management interface (https://my.bizzcloud.be) to be unavailable during the following hours:

Wednesday 6/02/2019 22:00 – 00:00 : Completed

Thursday  7/02/2019 22:00 – 00:00 : Completed

Friday 8/02/2019 22:00 – 00:00 : Completed

Saturday 9/02/2019 10:00 – 00:00 : Completed

Saturday 9/02/2019 22:00 – Sunday 10/02 12:00 : Completed

[DONE][ROLLED BACK] [PLANNED 05/02/2019] ClearMedia BizzCloud Maintenance

Dear,


Tuesday 5 February from 5:00 until 8:00 we will be replacing one of our machines hosting the https://my.bizzcloud.be platform.


During this change, the portal https://my.bizzcloud.be will be unavailable.
We don’t foresee any impact on the virtual systems running in our cloud platform, and they should remain available as usual.

Update 12:20 (ClearMedia)

vCloud director is restored and running.
All functions can be used again.

We apologize for the inconvenience of this actions.

Update 11:50 (ClearMedia)

vCloud director restoration is still ongoing and will exceed beyond the 12:00 maintenance window. Next update will be no later than 13:00.

The enviroment itself remains healthy and is in no way at risk.

----

Update 10:20(ClearMedia)

The maintenance window has been extended until 12:00 am, our engineers are in the final stages of recovering the vCloud director interface

Update 9:05 (ClearMedia)

The maintenance window has been extended until 10:00 am

----

Update 8:05 (ClearMedia)

The maintenance window has been extended until 9:00 am

[RESOLVED] Network Disruption 02/02/2019

Dear Partner, Customer,

At 15:49 there was a disruption of our network service. It is, at this moment, believed to be caused by a DDOS attempt.

Because of this, many services were unreachable for our customers.

About 10 minutes later the attack was mitigated.

Unfortunalty during this initial mitigation, many legitimate traffic was still being lost.

At around 17:00 all services were restored fully.

[DONE] ClearMedia BizzCloud vCloud Director Onderhoud

In het weekend van 2 tot en met 3 februari 2019 zal er een databaseonderhoud worden uitgevoerd op de BizzCloud omgeving.
Tijdens dit onderhoud kan de interface op https://my.bizzcloud.be soms kort onbereikbaar zijn.

De virtuele omgevingen binnen BizzCloud zullen tijdens het onderhoud normaal bereikbaar blijven.

[RESOLVED] BizzCloud unreachable - Proximus datacenter interruption

Beste klant, partner

We stellen momenteel een storing vast in de bereikbaarheid van onze Cloudomgeving.
Onze engineers onderzoeken het probleem om zo snel mogelijk tot een oplossing te komen.
Onze excuses voor dit ongemak.

Vanwege de significante impact van deze storing voor onze partners en klanten is ons support team nu bereikbaar op kantoor via onze reguliere telefoonnummer 03 658 00 36

Update 17:50 (ClearMedia)

All Clearmedia services are back operational since 16h00.

If you are still experiencing issues, please gracefully reboot the server. If that would not resolve it, you can contact our Technical helpdesk via email.

Our normal support desk (number) will remain open until 19h00, after which we will switch back over to normal weekend on-call services. Which is reachable via the emergency support number, for partners.

An extensive rapport with the root cause will follow later on.

Update 15:35 (Status update ClearMedia)

Currently services are recovering, bizzcloud interface is restored.

Partners are advised to check the VM's through BizzCloud.

Update 14:50 (Status update Proximus DCO)

we are slowly clearing the impact of this outage and your services should be recovering.

----

Update 13:12 (Status update Proximus DCO)

we have isolated the root cause of the outage and have began remediation actions. We request you do not make configuration changes to your VM's, such as a reboot, once you see them returning until further instruction is give.

Proximus will provide a next update at 14:30 latest,

The ClearMedia Bizzcloud interface will remain disabled untill we have more news.

Update 12:53 (ClearMedia update)

Services are slowly recovering. Please do not touch any servers while we are checking everything. Do not reboot any servers or services.
The ClearMedia Bizzcloud has been temporarily disabled, on purpose.

Update 11:35   (Status update Proximus DCO)

Network and storage troubleshooting is still ongoing. Escalation to Proximus and vendor management has been done.

----

Update 10:05   (Status update Proximus DCO)

We are investigating network and storage issues. Escalation call with vendor is ongoing. Next update 11u30.

Update 09:10   (Status update Proximus DCO)

An incident has been identified that is affecting all our datacenter services.
Our support teams are working on this incident with the highest priority, to resolve the issue in the shortest possible timeframe.
We will issue a next communication on this incident at 09:30.

Eerste bevindingen van Proximus DCO wijzen in de richting van een netwerkstoring op het backbone netwerk.
We wachten nog op verdere concrete info om dit te kunnen bevestigen en meer informatie te kunnen geven.
